Kickside

A privacy-conscious email-assistant prototype. Demo with synthetic emails.

An email assistant needs context to help with a reply. That raises a question before it writes anything: how much of the inbox does it actually need to see? Kickside is a prototype for people who want help finding a conversation and preparing a reply while keeping that choice visible.

The public demo uses synthetic emails and scripted assistant responses. Real Gmail and model access are not enabled. You can explore the workflow without connecting an inbox.

Search the sample threads, open a conversation, and inspect citations that point to the exact message behind a response. A citation gives you somewhere to look: the original wording, who said it, and the surrounding conversation.

You can also edit a reply draft and preview minimized or redacted content. The preview makes the proposed context visible before a model handoff would happen. In this demo, that handoff is simulated.

The prototype explores how those decisions fit into an email workflow. Working with fictional messages leaves the harder questions about real inbox access, model behavior, and privacy protections open.
